Since high school I have been passionate about performing. After studying American history at Cornell University (and singing in the dynamite a cappella group, Last Call), I returned to my hometown of Chicago to pursue a professional career as an actor in the city's wonderful performing arts community.
I spent ten years training and working as a theatre actor in Chicago. Eventually, I moved to Los Angeles where I worked under the lights and sunshine of Tinseltown. While I enjoyed my time in LA, I decided that my desire to live a balanced, creative life would be better served back in Chicago. I moved back to the Windy City in 2011 and continued to enjoy the requisite seasonal changes of the Midwest while pursuing creative endeavors as an actor, singer, improvisor, writer, teacher, coach, and music director. On StageMy stage career spans a range of genres, from comedy and drama to Shakespeare and musical theatre.

I count myself fortunate to have worked with some of our nation's finest theatres: Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Steppenwolf, Northlight, TimeLine, Porchlight Music Theatre, The Second City, and Riverside Theatre in Iowa, among them.
In 2007, I was honored to receive the Joseph Jefferson Award (Chicago's "Tony" Award) for Actor in a Supporting Role, for my performance as Tateh in Ragtime with Porchlight Music Theatre. Other notable roles include Dr. Mendel in Falsettos, Franz/Mr./Billy in Sunday in the Park with George, Nick in Baby, Malcolm in Macbeth, Dromio of Ephesus in Comedy of Errors, and Florizell in The Winter's Tale. While in Los Angeles, I also performed with the Story Pirates, a nationally-recognized arts education and performance organization that helps kids discover the joy and power of creating their own stories. |

"The show works most satisfyingly when center stage is taken by Aaron Graham's Mendel. In his zip and comic topspin he is nearly up to Broadway level."

Over the years, I have done a variety of on-camera work, including film, commercials, and shorts.
