Aaron Graham



Aaron Graham is a Jeff Award-winning actor with over ten years experience as an actor, singer, improvisor, teacher and director. He lives in Los Angeles.

Originally from Deerfield, Illinois, Aaron earned his B.A. from Cornell University. While at Cornell, he played first trumpet with the Cornell University Wind Ensemble and sang with the men of Last Call, one of the nation's best collegiate a cappella groups (ICCA championship finalists).

Aaron cut his professional teeth working at regional theatres such as Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Steppenwolf, Northlight, Remy Bumppo, TimeLine, Porchlight, First Folio, Riverside Theatre in Iowa City, and Second City Theatricals. In March 2005, Aaron received rave reviews for his portrayal of Dr. Mendel in Falsettos, directed by Steve Scott and part of Porchlight Music Theatre's William Finn Festival.

In 2007, Aaron returned to the Porchlight stage to play Tateh in their highly-acclaimed production of Ragtime for which he earned the coveted Joseph Jefferson Award for Actor in a Supporting Role - Musical.

On camera, Aaron recently played the lead role in the independent feature film, Einstein's God Model. The darkly comic, sci-fi love story by Philip T. Johnson is scheduled for release in 2010. More info. Since moving to Los Angeles, Aaron has been busy appearing in various short films, industrials and commercials.

In addition to scripted work, Aaron has studied, performed and taught improvisation for ten years. He has been seen at the Chicago Improv Festival, Chicago Sketch Fest, UCB Theatre's Del Close Marathon and the New York International Fringe Festival. Specializing in improvised musicals as well as long- and short-form improv, Aaron trained and performed at Chicago's prestigious comedy institutions including The Second City, ImprovOlympic (now IO Chicago) and The Annoyance.

For two years, he served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at The Second City Training Center where he taught classes and directed shows. Currently, Aaron continues his training at UCB Theatre in Los Angeles and performs on Friday nights with his improv team Loki at iO West.
